2. Springboro Oktoberfest (September 5–6)

4. Springboro Community Theatre: “Footloose” (September 12–14 & 19–21)

Enjoy an energetic, local stage production of “Footloose,” featuring community talent. The show encourages appreciation for live theatre and gives residents a chance to support their neighbors on stage in a family-friendly setting.

5. Monthly Speaker Series (September to December)

On the third Tuesday of each month at 11 a.m., the Performing Arts Center hosts a free presentation sponsored by Premier Health. Topics are tailored to community interests, ranging from health and wellness to local history, making it an engaging and educational family outing.

6. Art Gallery Exhibition (September to December)

Located in the lobby of the Performing Arts Center at 115 Wright Station Way, the PAC’s Art Gallery offers a warm and inspiring environment where creativity unfolds month by month.

Since opening in January 2020, it has hosted more than 40 rotating exhibits featuring hundreds of talented local and regional artists, working across a wide range of mediums including painting, photography, mixed media, pottery, fiber art, and more.

This rotating gallery is perfect for sparking creativity, offering families a chance to explore new ideas together and experience art that resonates with every generation.

7. Nature Walks & Bike Rides (September to November)

Join guided explorations of Springboro’s parks and trails, led by knowledgeable local naturalists. Each walk or ride is scheduled for a Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m., with locations like E. Milo Beck Park and North Park hosting seasonal hikes, from wildflower spotting in spring to prairie views in fall.

No registration is required, just bring comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. These are free, family-friendly outings that beautifully blend education with outdoor adventure.

8. Community Wellness Program: “Give Us 10 or 30” (September to December)

This is a citywide health challenge encouraging Springboro residents to either walk 10 miles or bike 30 miles in a month.

Participants simply use a tracking app to log their miles, submit a screenshot or photo, and then upload it monthly to be eligible for fun prizes, including restaurant gift cards, via a prize drawing (roughly one winner per 20 entries). It’s an easy, inclusive way for families to stay active and accountable together.

9. Dayton Children’s Playground at North Park (Open Year-Round)

It’s quickly become a community favorite, perfect for everyday adventures, playdates, and family weekends.

It’s a free event, open to both Chamber members and non-members, and held at the Springboro Chamber offices inside the Performing Arts Center.

13. October Business After Hours (October 15)

A relaxed and welcoming event hosted by Pickrel, Schaeffer & Ebeling, LPA at Heather’s Coffee & Cafe. This gathering brings together local business owners, entrepreneurs, and community members for networking over light refreshments.

14. Chamber Annual Meeting & Gala (October 22)

Held at the Hilton Garden Inn at Austin Landing, this year’s Annual Meeting celebrates the Chamber’s 50th anniversary with the theme “Celebrating the Eras of the Chamber.”

The evening begins at 5:30 PM with cocktails and a silent auction, followed by dinner, music, and a special awards presentation in the ballroom. Instead of a traditional auction, a raffle-style drawing will determine winners of donated items, with ticket bundles available in advance.

Open to Chamber members (with guests welcome), this business-casual evening offers a chance to reflect on the year’s successes and build connections in a festive, professional setting.

15. Women in Power Giving Session (November 4)

Attendees explore ways to support each other and grow together through honest, value-driven conversation. This session fosters deep connection and encouragement in a safe, open space, and is free to attend for members and non-members alike.

16. November Breakfast Briefing (November 12)

A leadership development event designed to help professionals and community members balance personal and business growth.

While specific details for November’s session aren’t yet available publicly, past Breakfast Briefings have taken place at the Performing Arts Center and typically begin around 7:30 AM.

They offer expert speakers and actionable insights, especially helpful for parents or local business owners juggling family and work responsibilities.

17. Lunch & Learn: Business Intelligence & Analytics (November 20)

This engaging midday workshop introduces practical tools for interpreting business data, like sales trends, customer behavior, and performance metrics.

It’s tailored to empower small business owners, community organizers, and curious lifelong learners to make informed decisions from real-world data. Venue details are often shared closer to the date via the Chamber’s calendar.

18. Women in Power: White Elephant (December 2)

A festive, lighthearted twist on a traditional networking meetup, this holiday-themed event includes a White Elephant gift exchange, snacks, and laughter.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a humorous or thoughtful gift, often under a small value cap. It’s a great opportunity to connect with other women in the community in a relaxed, celebratory environment.

19. Holiday Market at Sunshine Studio (December 17)

Held at Sunshine Studio (often hosted at venues like the Aron Wright House), this one-day market features local artisans offering handmade gifts, holiday treats, decorations, and more. Past events ran from about 2:00 to 5:00 PM in December. Perfect for families looking for unique, locally crafted holiday finds.

While the 2025 date is pending, the “That Spring Thing” event page lists it among featured seasonal activities.

Celebrating Springboro Events Together

When fall settles in, Springboro events turn into moments that stitch our community closer. These shared experiences bring families out of their routines and into spaces where laughter, learning, and connection take center stage.

Whether it’s the lively polka rhythms and rich aromas of Oktoberfest, the inspiring performances by neighbors at the local theatre, or the peaceful satisfaction of walking a trail under crisp golden leaves, every event contributes to the fabric of community life.

Even something as simple as attending a morning speaker session or browsing handmade crafts at a holiday market offers the chance to slow down, engage with others, and feel a deeper connection to the town we call home.

For families, these gatherings are opportunities to create memories, teach values, and model engagement for the next generation. For longtime residents and newcomers alike, they offer a sense of belonging and pride in a place where people genuinely show up for one another.

In every bike ride, chalk drawing, music set, or warm handshake at a vendor booth, you’ll find evidence of what makes Springboro so special: people investing in each other and in the shared spaces that shape our daily lives.
